I am Carolin Vedder. I design how senses interact. My work connects art, design, neuroscience, and futures research across media and cultural contexts.

Selected collaborations include MTV, Nickelodeon, ORF, ZDF, Mercedes, Audi, Seat, Pro7, Douglas Cosmetics with Peter Lindbergh, CERN x TUM, Mythos Mozart Vienna.

My journey began in motion.
At MTV Networks on Times Square in 1999, when the grammar of Motion Design was still being invented. Early years spanned music television, advertising, and broadcast design, shaping how rhythm and identity function on screen. Over two decades, I created systems for visual identity, immersive campaigns, and narrative design across public platforms, from Nickelodeon channel launches to ZDF prime-time titles.

In parallel, I developed non-visual-only sensory logic: translating motion into sound, rhythm into space and music into scent. That led to crossmodal installations, prototypes, and my first authored frameworks in sensory and perception design. The shift was not away from design. It was away from the status quo. From delivering media, toward building systems that define how media is perceived.
